If you have committed to a request but need to report that you are sick, please follow the steps outlined below:

**Single-Day Request:** Cancel your request on the Swing platform. Provide notes in the note section that you're sick. Please review our support article on **[how to cancel your request.](https://support.swingeducation.com/en/articles/11119954-how-do-i-cancel-my-commitment-to-a-request)**

**Multi-Day or Long-Term Request:** Contact the school to ensure they can arrange appropriate coverage for the day. Then partial cancel the days you're unable to attend using the **[partial cancelation feature](https://support.swingeducation.com/en/articles/11119954-how-do-i-cancel-my-commitment-to-a-request)** on the Swing app or Swing website.

## Does Swing Offer Sick Hours?

- Swing does not currently offer sick hours in any other state.

## Will canceling because I'm sick impact my Swing status?

Yes, canceling at the last minute because you're sick will still be flagged on your account. When selecting "Sick" as the cancelation reason, our team will review these cancelations and provide exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
