Assignments are posted directly in the Swing app. You can browse and accept jobs based on your preferences, including grade level, school type, assignment length, and commute distance. You choose which jobs you want to take.

Does Swing take a cut from my pay?
No. The pay rate you see before accepting an assignment is the amount you’ll earn for that job. Swing partners with schools and districts directly and pays substitute teachers weekly.

How long does onboarding take?
Account setup timelines vary by state and credential requirements, but many substitute teachers complete the process within a few weeks. Our team helps guide you through each step, including background checks, credentialing requirements, and required paperwork.
